M&M’s Chocolate Spread Is Coming For Nutella

Nutella had a good run, but M&M’s is coming for the chocolate spread crown.

M&M’s Chocolate Spread with Crispy Pieces is the sweet jarred treat that we deserve right now. Not only is it wonderfully-spreadable, but unlike Nutella, M&M’s loads theirs with crispy candy pieces.

Perfect for fans of the candies that melt in your mouth, and those who prefer chunky over smooth. As of now, the spread is available in the UK, but we hope to have it on our toast stateside soon.

Watching M&M’s Dissolve In Water Is Pretty Awesome

mms-dissolve

M&M’s, the candy that supposedly ‘melts in your mouth and not in your hands,’ is put to the test… for science.

The Beauty of Science wanted to see what would happen if M&M’s were placed in water and filmed in 4K time-lapse. The result… watching the color slowly dissolve off M&M’s looks like something we’d see dramatized on an episode of Cosmos.

Sombrero Piñata Cookies

It’s Cinco de Mayo, and you’re going to need some proper cookies. Beth from Hungry Happenings is here to help get the cookie fiesta started with Sombrero Piñata Cookies.

The adorable treats are made to look like little sombreros, with a surprise inside… M&Ms. And, as we all know, nothing says “fiesta,” quite like sombreros and piñatas. Well, maybe cerveza.

So, a reminder… Pick up cookie ingredients and beer. You’re welcome.

This Photo of M&Ms Does Not Use Photoshop

original

Adobe Photoshop is an indispensable creative tool. But the digital manipulation software, when in the wrong hands, can be used for pure evil — such as for blackmailing purposes, or to make a celebrity or model look like they’re completely made from plastic.

So, it’s good to see someone bypass Photoshop completely — instead using good old-fashioned photo technique and creativity. Take this photo of M&Ms by Patrick on Flickr. It would be easy to pass the image off as an abuse of the rubber stamp tool and various filters. However, it’s nothing more than a bowl of candies under a glass covered in water droplets.
