This Is Now The World’s Most Expensive Beer

November 9, 2010 by Chris Durso Leave a Comment

Nail Ale Brewing Co.

For those keeping score… Antarctic Nail Ale is the new ‘World’s Most Expensive Beer’. But rather than using a dead squirrel pelt as its gimmick, the pale ale claims to have been brewed with ice brought back from Antarctica.

Brewed in a limited run of 30 bottles, Nail Ale claimed the title after the number one bottle sold for $800.

And we thought ice beer died a slow death a decade ago. Please, someone wrap a beer with a frozen dead squirrel before Icehouse makes a comeback. Thank you.
