Foodnited States T-Shirts Are Here!

October 13, 2016 by Chris Durso

four-states

After the overwhelming response we received from our Foodnited States of America project, it only seemed fair that everyone should be able to wear their Food State — or favorite food item.

The Foodnited States T-Shirts are now available for pre-order, in both Men’s/Unisex and Women’s sizes.

So far, we have fan-favorites S’moregon, Kaleifornia, New Pork and Avocolorado. Don’t worry if you don’t see your Foodnited State yet, as more are on the way.

So, check them out, and if you’d like to pre-order one or several, all the shirts ship FREE.

America loves its chains. Especially when that chain involves burgers, drive-thrus, or anything else that gets us something to consume as quickly as possible. But did you ever wonder where each American restaurant chain originated from?

Red, White & Food answers that burning question, reminding us of that place we’ve probably visited all too often. Did they get yours right?

Stately Sandwiches, Deconstructed Sandwiches From Each State

May 30, 2012 by Chris Durso

Stately Sandwiches is brought to us by art student and designer Kelly Pratt. The ongoing project presents a sandwich for each U.S. state, with the added twist of deconstructing the sandwiches to highlight each component. So far, Kelly is making her way through the U.S. — 11 sandwiches complete so far — and is taking suggestions for future state sandwiches on Twitter.

The United States of Cooking Pans

May 2, 2012 by Chris Durso

Made in America is a series of iron skillets shaped like each of the lower 48 states. Brought to us by FeLion Studios, each state can be ordered separately, or all 48 as a whole — just in case you’d like an awesome art piece, or a different state-shaped omelette every day. Although, I’m not sure an egg would fit in Rhode Island.
