We appear to have reached peak rainbow. Already, this week alone, we’ve seen Rainbow Grilled Cheese and Rainbow Pizza. Now, coffee has decided to get in on the colorful-action with Rainbow Latte Art.
The colorful coffee-works are brought to us by Las Vegas-based barista, Mason Salisbury, and posted to his Instagram account ibrewcoffee. By adding food coloring to the steamed milk before pouring, Mason is able to present coffee in full-color.

If the inside of your grilled cheese is still yellow, you’re doing it wrong. Hong Kong-based @hkfoodiexblogger has discovered a magical version of the gooey cheese sandwich.
The Rainbow Grilled Cheese is brought to us by Kala Toast in Hong Kong. The colors are made possible with lavender (blue), basil (green), tomato (red) and four kinds of cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, emmental and gruyere).
Although the grilled cheese’s appearance is nothing short of majestic, our foodie describes the taste as “rather average.” Sorry, unicorn sandwich.

Not to be outdone by their bready-counterpart, The Rainbow Bagel, Moe’s Doughs has created a sweet colorful treat with the Rainbow Donut.
The Brooklyn-based shop flavors and colors these cake donuts with red velvet, sour cream, strawberry and pistachio. If you’re in NYC, stop by and taste the rainbow.

That’s not Play-Doh you’re seeing above, and it’s much more edible. They’re Rainbow Bagels and they’ve been made at Brooklyn’s The Bagel Store for 20 years.
Finally, we get a little insight into the process, and it looks like a whole lot o’ fun. Just like we used to roll colorful bagels with our childhood Play-Doh sets. Of course, we ate those with no cream cheese. Gangsta!
