Chef Creates Menu Then Wears The Entire Meal On His Face

chef-face-post-header

Sure, you could present your menu on boring paper with fancy words in a tired font, or, you can get creative and present the entire meal on your face.

That’s exactly what Chef Robbie Postma, of J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam, decided to do. In collaboration with artist Robert Harrison, they’ve created MENU — actual ingredients presented on the chef’s face.

The MENU begins with vegetables and progresses through some main courses, wine, desserts and coffee. Each ingredient, down to the last coffee bean and grain, is genuine and was applied by hand.

See some of the backstory and the process involved in the video below.

Artist Stephen McMennamy, who we’ve featured previously, continues the art of food and everyday objects mashed together.

The result is a series of contiguous images, including grape balloons and cauliflower poodles, designed to toy with our minds.

LEGO Butter, Beer, And Other Bricky Foods

Sometimes, we just need to forego LEGO’s included instructions, throw caution to the wind, and get creative with our brick art.

Artist Michał Kulesza does this in one of the simplest and hunger-inducing ways possible. Kulesza replaces ordinary foods and everyday objects with LEGOs — creating fun scenes that look good enough to eat.

But please do not eat… LEGOs taste bad.
