If you need a spoon rest, and dig uber-schmaltzy Lionel Richie tunes — Hello… Is It Me You’re Cooking For? is for you. Another stellar entry of Lionel Richie-inspired food puns by Etsy member Lenny Mud — the spoon rest is handmade, crazy-brilliant, and available at their shop.

Although there’s no Lionel there… You could also check out some fun kitchen accessories at The Foodiggity Shop. Hello.

Just The Most Realistic Paintings of Donuts Ever

Artist and hyperrealistic painter Cesar Santander is influenced mostly by vintage toys, crayons, and other various ephemera. But he also creates some of the most realistic paintings of donuts that we’ve seen, and he’s now responsible for more screen-licking than any artist that we’ve featured here at Foodiggity. Thanks, Cesar.

Woman Camouflaged To Blend Into a Vegetable Stand

To promote their new television show, Covert Affairs, UK channel Really hid a woman in a vegetable stand. Painted by artist Carolyn Roper, the patient young veggie lady is part of a series of people camouflaged to blend into their urban surroundings.

So, if you’re anywhere in London, watch where you sit, or make sure that your lettuce isn’t a thigh.

There’s Always Room by Kristin Tercek

There’s Always Room is a new piece by one of Foodiggity’s favorite artists, Kristin Tercek. The painting is part of Tercek’s body of work, known as Cuddly Rigor Mortis, in which she draws inspiration from a fascination with handmade dolls, and the mortality of anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables.

Here, we see a few fruits diving into a refreshing pool of green Jell-O. But holding true to the theme of Cuddly Rigor Mortis — our adorable friends will surely meet an untimely end. I say, Jell-O drowning.

‘There’s Always Room’ is acrylic on wood, measures 14″ x 9.5″ x .75″, and it goes on sale this Friday, September 7th at 3pm EDT.

Can Man, A Street Art Series of Faces Painted on Found Cans

Can Man is a series of street art by My Dog Sighs. Using found cans, the artist paints faces on the bottom, mimicking the intricacies of an aged metal can — helping to bring them to life, and to stare at you judgingly while you walk down the street.

More Can Men and Women can be found at My Dog Sighs’ Facebook page.
