Rather than fill up his blue recycling tub with cans, artist Makaon reuses his empties, converting them into pop culture characters.
From a beer can Vader to aluminum Woody and Buzz — cans are cut and shaped into the characters, while using the can’s existing color pattern to perfection.

The next time that you look at your big blue bin of empty beer cans — consider that you might also be looking at art. Artist Macaon turns these discarded drinking vessels into awesome sculptures. Subjects range from various animals, to recreations of other famous works.
Can Man is a series of street art by My Dog Sighs. Using found cans, the artist paints faces on the bottom, mimicking the intricacies of an aged metal can — helping to bring them to life, and to stare at you judgingly while you walk down the street.
