There are few things more soul-crushing than opening up a pizza delivery box, only to find remnants of leftover cheese and sauce.

Artist Stefan Kuhnigk wants to make empty pizza boxes a lot more fun to open, with The Pizza Monster. Inspired by his own project, Coffee Monsters, and recruited by lieferando.de, Stefan morphs that unfortunate sauce splatter into an adorable monster named Schnabuli.

Cute, but still want pizza now.

Cereal Monsters Get Real In This Creepy Art Series

cereal-monsters

Cereal Monsters can be adorable, and all they want to do is endorse their delicious breakfast cereals. However, at the end of the day, Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry are still monsters.

Artist Mike Burns got serious with these cereal peddlers, depicting them as actual creepy monsters. Prints of Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry can be found here. Sadly, we don’t get to see Fruit Brute howling at the moon. Now, we wait.

Coffee Monsters, Coffee Spills Turned Into Adorable Monsters

coffee-monsters

Coffee spills are gonna happen. So, why not make these unfortunate little accidents as adorable as possible?

Coffee Monsters, by German creative professional Stefan Kuhnigk, sees the potential in these brown splotches. After some pencil to paper, Stefan turns coffee spills into adorable little creatures.

Although Stefan’s first spill was an accident that he made the best of, we assume that the 300 Coffee Monsters that followed were done on purpose. Check out more below and over at Kuhnigk’s Instagram.

Fancy Porcelain Plates Redrawn With Monsters, Robots, and UFOs

1

If you’d like to lighten the mood at your next fancy dinner party, you might consider taking a cue from Calamityware by artist Don Moyer.

Using a set of dishware given to him by his great-grandparents as inspiration, Moyer added elements such as giant robots and UFOs to the tranquil willow-patterned themes. Hopefully your stuffy friends have a sense of humor.
