The Coca-Cola Logo Redesigned Using The Internal Organs It Affects

September 9, 2015 by Chris Durso

Coca-Cola… It’s been known to encourage different cultures to convene for a random song and soda-buying. It’s also been known to accelerate tooth decay and helps clean pennies. So, we can only imagine what the iconic soft-drink does to our innards.

Artist and former Coca-Cola drinker, Fabio Pantoja, recently provided an interesting study on this subject. His illustration shows the Coca-Cola logo, redesigning it using the internal organs that Coke has been known to adversely affect. Now, that’s the real thing.

Artist Alters Starbucks Logo To Reveal The Personalities of Its Patrons

September 11, 2014 by Chris Durso

Artist Alejo Malia recently had a little fun with the ubiquitous Starbucks logo. With some minor design alterations, Malia is able to transform the mermaid into some of the most typical personalities that you’d find at the coffee shop.

Whether it’s an iPad-toting social media addict, a cupcake fiend, or a good old-fashioned hipster… the series makes a strong case for why Starbucks should consider using several logos.

My vote is still with changing the angle of the mermaid completely. That, or the hipster.

The Starbucks Logo From Behind

June 20, 2012 by Chris Durso

The Starbucks Mermaid. You may recognize her from every other street corner on the planet — but we’ve never seen her like this.

Part of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In Nonexistence [ugh!], we get a new perspective on the omnipresent coffee lady.

And, as we’ve suspected all along… tramp stamp!

Starbucks Officially Switches To Its New Wordless Logo

March 8, 2011 by Chris Durso

In case you have not already heard, Starbucks has had plans to eventually roll-out an updated logo. Well, their attempt at Nike-like brand recognition and saving money on black ink has begun. The new wordless, mermaid-dominant logo has been made official to coincide with Starbucks’ 40th birthday, and the launch of their commemorative Tribute Blend.

Now be sure to update all of your Starbucks’ mugs and tumblers with those emblazoned with the new logo. A $22 tumbler that still says ‘Starbucks’ will just make you appear unhip.
