Kit Kat Sandwiches Exist Because Japan

P2760911

The U.S. loves breaking off pieces of that Kit Kat bar. However, in Japan, Kit Kats are their own sub-culture.

They’ve even been trying to find new ways to enjoy the dual candy bars, evidenced by Kit Kat Sandwiches. The sweet treat is a standard chocolate Kit Kat with whipped cream and orange peel, sandwiched between a bun.

Break me off a piece of that.

Cute Vinyl Figurines Inspired By Our Favorite Snacks

munny-snacks-6

If you’re not familiar with Munnies, they’re basically a blank canvas for folks to create the awesomest vinyl figurines possible. Artist Zard Apuya is one of these creative people, and he likes snacks.

One of Apuya’s Munny series is food-inspired, focusing on junk food and snacks. From a Kit Kat Munny with a wafer-filled head to a Starbucks cup-dude — the figures are as adorable as they are hunger-inducing.

See more below and at Apuya’s store here.

Kit Kat Ads Painted With Melted Kit Kats

kit-kat-1

To help celebrate the end of its limited edition white chocolate version, Kit Kat commissioned Australian illustrator Mike Watt to create a few ads. And by “a few” we meant “fifty.” And, they’re not so much “ads” as they are posters that use the last fifty Kit Kat Whites melted down and used as paint.

See more of Kit Kat White’s Final Fifty project over at their Facebook page, and break off a piece of some Kit Kat art.
