A McDonald’s in Warsaw, Poland recently set up a billboard that’s a functioning chalkboard. Updated twice daily by graffiti artist Stefan Szwed-Stronzynski, the ever-changing billboard was set up to help reinforce the “freshness of McDonald’s Food.”

The concept was put together by the local office of DDB, art studio Good Looking, and Krewcy Krawcy Productions.

Graffiti Created With Rotten Fruits and Vegetables

Brazilian graffiti artist Narcelio Grud recently left his spray paint cans at home, and instead used decomposing fruits and vegetables to create his urban art.

The project and short film Tropical Hungry sees Grud scour for leftovers at local markets. Grud then collects and separates his produce/paint by color, finds a blank wall, and gets to work. See the process in the video below.

Sugar Murals and Cake Icing Graffiti

Remember, kids… Graffiti is wrong. That is of course, unless the wall art is created with delicious cake icing. Over the last few years, Montreal-based street artist Shelley Miller has enhanced a few urban settings by decorating the walls as if it was cake.

Often inspired by the textures, patterns, or existing graffiti of the wall — Shelley creates very temporary art that will last until it no longer adheres to its stone canvas. Or, until the locals lick it clean.
