There’s Now A Super Mario Bros. Cafe Because Japan

While they continue to dominate the competition in tomato on-the-run consumption and Kit-Kat innovation, Japan can now be called the worldwide leader in video game-themed cafes.

Brought to us by the few remaining Tower Records in Japan, the limited-time pop-up cafes are here to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros.

From June 22-July 5, diners can power up with a Mario Latte, Princess Peach Panna Cotta, or a Super Star Rice Omelette. No mention what the large mushrooms do.

There’s Panties Available For Your Bottled Water Because Japan

There’s A Beer That Could Help You Look Younger Because Japan

Beer, always known to help people look better, is now trying to actually make people look better.

Precious is a new brew that is marketing itself as an age-defying beer, by including 2000mg of collagen. The low-malt beverage, currently only available in Hokkaido Prefecture, also contains 5% ABV.

Although, there’s no evidence that ingesting collagen will be effective for your skin, you can at least try to look and feel younger. No goggles required.

Kit Kat Sandwiches Exist Because Japan

The U.S. loves breaking off pieces of that Kit Kat bar. However, in Japan, Kit Kats are their own sub-culture.

They’ve even been trying to find new ways to enjoy the dual candy bars, evidenced by Kit Kat Sandwiches. The sweet treat is a standard chocolate Kit Kat with whipped cream and orange peel, sandwiched between a bun.

Break me off a piece of that.

Burger King Has a Whopper-Scented Perfume Now Because Japan

You know that smell of stale smoke, that sears your nostrils as you pass a Burger King? Well, now there’s an opportunity for you, and anyone within your smell radius, to enjoy that scent all of the time.

Burger King Perfume is a thing over in Japan. At least, we’re led to believe that this scent will actually exist, as it’s scheduled to be released on April 1st.

We were under the assumption that every day is April Fool’s Day in Japan. So, whether or not this perfume will actually be available for purchase with your Whopper, remains to be seen. Now we wait.
