Just when we thought that Japan had gone two far with their outrageous Kit Kat flavors — Sushi Kit Kats are here. Although, it may be easy to believe that these Kit Kats could be tuna and sea urchin-flavored, they’re only made to look like raw fish and rice.
Maguro (tuna) is made with a puffed rice base topped with topped witha raspberry flavored Kit Kat. Uni (sea urchin) is made with a slice of seaweed wrapped around a Hokkaido Melon with Mascarpone Cheese–flavored Kit Kat. Tamago (egg) features a Banana-flavored Kit Kat and nori seaweed.
The Sushi Kit Kat three-pack will be offered at the new Kit Kat Chocolatory inside Itami Osaka International Airport. However, they’re only available to the first thirty customers who spend over 3,000 yen ($27.96), every day from April 18 through to May 6.

Nobody can be sure why McDonald’s patrons in Japan are impaling their burgers onto their drinks with a straw. But they are, and it’s a new meme referred to as ‘drink x hamburger.’
Perhaps it’s to keep the burger in place while mobile. One-handed eating/drinking? Or maybe, just maybe, Japan likes when there are bits of burger floating around in their beverage. Either way, check it out and judge for yourself.
It’s getting hot out there. Beverages and food, designed to keep us warm most of the year, will soon be rethought and iced. Thanks to Nissin, instant ramen is no exception.
