A Cookbook That Will Help Light A Fire, Sharpen Knives, and Serve The Meal

bbq-bible-hed-2014

There was once a time when a cookbook was measured by the quality of recipes, the food styling, and the celebrity’s mug on the cover.

Now, with the recent development that is The Bible of Barbecue — every other cookbook is now inferior and should stop. Although it’s far from a traditional cookbook, containing no actual recipes, the BBQ bible will help produce a meal better than any celebrity-laden pile of pages.

Specific to preparing a grilled meal, the Bible comes apart at each stage of the cooking process. Beginning with a page that’s literally made from charcoal, it can be broken up to get the fire started. Page two is a fire starter, followed by a flame-fanner.

Progressing to chapter-two reveals an apron, foil, chopping board, and a page to sharpen your knives on. So, how does it end? With a page that’s a placemat, another that’s a serving tray, and a kitchen cloth.

The Biblia Definitiva Do Churrasco was created by Tramontina and JWT Brazil. It’s been made in limited quantities and offered to only a few “master barbecue chefs.” A simplified version will be available for the average backyard BBQer soon.

This BBQ Grill Is A Smoking Gun

The Double-Barrel Pistol-Grip Sawed-Off Shotgun BBQ Grill is not only a fully-functional grill, but the smoking gun is conclusive evidence that food is better when cooked outdoors.

Brought to us by California artist firesculptureart, all this manliness will set you back $9,550 USD. But at least you’ll always know who’s guilty of burning dinner. Also available in Colt .45 form, if that’s how you roll.

Finally, Soda and Brisket Packaged Together

big-red

Soda and brisket go together like bacon and anything. And you could buy them packaged separately, but that just sounds like a lot of work.

Fortunately, Texas-based soda company Big Red has at least suggested the idea of housing yummy brisket and refreshing soda together. The result, although fictional and highly dramatized, is thought-provoking and pretty disgusting. Enjoy.
