A Cookbook That Will Help Light A Fire, Sharpen Knives, and Serve The Meal

There was once a time when a cookbook was measured by the quality of recipes, the food styling, and the celebrity’s mug on the cover.

Now, with the recent development that is The Bible of Barbecue — every other cookbook is now inferior and should stop. Although it’s far from a traditional cookbook, containing no actual recipes, the BBQ bible will help produce a meal better than any celebrity-laden pile of pages.

Specific to preparing a grilled meal, the Bible comes apart at each stage of the cooking process. Beginning with a page that’s literally made from charcoal, it can be broken up to get the fire started. Page two is a fire starter, followed by a flame-fanner.

Progressing to chapter-two reveals an apron, foil, chopping board, and a page to sharpen your knives on. So, how does it end? With a page that’s a placemat, another that’s a serving tray, and a kitchen cloth.

The Biblia Definitiva Do Churrasco was created by Tramontina and JWT Brazil. It’s been made in limited quantities and offered to only a few “master barbecue chefs.” A simplified version will be available for the average backyard BBQer soon.
