This Ice Cream Sandwich Made with Black and White Cookies Is Everything

Look to the cookie, Elaine… Especially if it’s two black and white cookies acting as an ice cream sandwich and rolled in everything bagel spice.

That’s what New York City’s Kossar’s and Ice & Vice are doing to help celebrate National Sandwich Month. Ice & Vice’s Mexican vanilla ice cream is sandwiched between Kossar’s famous black and white cookies, which is then rolled in everything bagel spice. So, all the flavor profiles are accounted for… sweet, savory, salty, and cookie-y. Cookie-y is a thing.

The ‘Everything Black’ is available at Kossar’s (367 Grand Street) and Ice & Vice (221 East Broadway) until August 7th.

This Bagel Burger Stuffed With A Bourbon Shot Will Help Fill The Void

The problem with any bagel sandwich, is that there’s all that space wasted by the bagel-hole. Sydney, Australia’s Chicken & Sons is here to remedy that.

The Bourbon Bagel turns that negative space into a positive. Besides the Angus beef patty, “Yankee” cheese, pickles, special sauce, bourbon-glazed bacon, jalapeño and bourbon bbq sauce — a shot of Bulleit bourbon is stuffed in the hole. Problem solved!

The Cookie Monster Bagel Is Good Enough For Me

The bagel and cookie world was recently turned upside down with The Bagel Nook‘s Oreo Bagel. Now, the New Jersey-based shop is keeping the theme going with the Cookie Monster Bagel.

Dyed blue to resemble the gluttonous Muppet, the bagel is then stuffed with cookie dough cream cheese, chocolate chip cookies, and topped with more cookies.

Those wanting to try the Cookie Monster Bagel will have to hurry — as it’ll only be available for a limited time, starting this weekend.

This Is Important… Puppy or Bagel?

Everyone enjoys optical illusions… especially when puppies and bagels are involved. Artist Karen Zack (@teenybiscuit) agrees. She’s also asking all of the right questions… specifically, Puppy or Bagel?

So, it’s OK if your mind plays tricks on you when viewing Zack’s Twitter account. Or, if you’ve ever craved brunch after seeing your dog nap.

Zack also toys with our minds, with puppies that look like fried chicken. Not that we needed an excuse to crave fried chicken.
