Italian artist, Daniele Barresi, creates fruit and vegetable masterpieces. One of his latest works is a race against time, with a beautiful avocado carving that took about one hour.
The avocado pit, which is often a nuisance, becomes the centerpiece of the intricate fruit art. Barresi works with various types of fruits and vegetables, and sometimes soap. See more below and over on Instagram.

The Avolatte has been exposed to the world by Truman Cafe in Melbourne, Australia. Although, the Avolatte appears to have been a one-time joke, these will certainly begin popping up in neighborhoods with a large handlebar mustache and fixie bicycle population. Keep an eye out for them, so you can enjoy one before they’re cool.

The best part, however, could be the pit. Unlike real avocado pits that are a nuisance, and need to be removed with extreme force, this version is an easily-removable ball of chocolate.

People feel very strongly about their avocados. But, how do two halves of the fruit feel about one another?
If this wool sculpture by artist Hanna Dovahan is any indication, the two halves are madly in love, and fit together perfectly. They are also delicious with a little lime and sea salt.
