When boring round cakes just won’t do, there’s these architectural and geometric masterpieces by Ukrainian chef, Dinara Kasko.

Applying her background in architectural-design, Kasko creates desserts with lines and structural composition that’s often reserved for designing large sculptures, or the exterior of an art museum.

Check out more of Kasko’s work below and over on Instagram.

So That’s What Happens To Former Pizza Huts

So, what happens when a Pizza Hut goes out of business, and a new tenant moves into the distinctively-roofed building? Pizza Hunt wants to show you.

Brought to us by photographer, Ho Hai Tran, the photo series consists of former Pizza Huts, that now house completely different, non-hut-related businesses.

Even if it’s now a liquor store, Chinese restaurant, funeral home, or church — it’s unmistakeable that a pizza-like product and breadsticks were once served there.

The project is currently in Kickstarter phase to help raise funds for a Pizza Hunt photo book. Check it out here.

Gastro-Architecture, A Fun Illustration Series of Buildings That Look Like Food

5

When you start seeing architecture as food, either it’s time for lunch, or you’re the creator of Gastro-Architecture.

Illustrator and art director of The New York Times Book ReviewNicholas Blechman, sees architecture as edible or as a food tool, and he’s got the adorable cartoon series to prove it.

Whether it’s the Fifth Avenue Apple Store as an ice cube, or the Cathedral of Brasilia as a crown roast, the playful series will have you looking at buildings in an entirely different way. Except art deco… very unappetizing.
