Besides being made of food, cows have been known to lend themselves to a number of other useful products. According to this cartoon, cattle is omnipresent and available in almost any product that you can think of — from anti-aging cream to fireworks.
The cartoon attempts to debunk the concept of a vegan, implying that there is no escape from the cow. Of course vegans are outraged, and have responded as only a self-righteous vegan could.

You don’t understand the concept of veganism. We know we will harm/kill beings just because by our existence. Driving our cars, we will run over bugs, etc. So does that mean we should say, “Oh, hell with it! I’m going to kill willy-nilly and eat them and wear them, etc”? See, we do everything in our power not to cause harm. And therein lies the difference. I only purchase cruelty-free anti-aging cream or what have you. I don’t purchase or watch fireworks. We are well aware of these. Someone going vegan is sparing between 100-900 animals per year. You call it self-righteous because you are defensive. It’s nothing more than compassion. We don’t think we are better than anybody, even animals.
