Imagine visiting Shenandoah Caverns in Virginia, expecting to catch a glimpse of the most fascinating stalagmites, stalactites, and other various rocks. But what is that you see? Perhaps it’s because you skipped breakfast, but you’d swear that the walls are lined with the magical meat candy — bacon.
Known to most laymans as Cave Bacon, the oversized strips are formed when water runs down a limestone cave wall, depositing calcite into delicate draperies… blah, blah, blah… giant bacon!

Hitch is brought to us by students Felix Meyer, Pascal Monaco, and Torsten Strer. The brilliantly animated short film takes us through a few pages of The Ultimate Hitch Cookbook, and the ‘recipes’ for a few films by British filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.
The film was created for their graduation project at The University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover, Germany. And yes, there is a recipe for The Birds — eggs are involved.
