Heinz Makes Sriracha Ketchup Now

heinz-sriracha

Ketchup has been the reigning king of condiments for generations now. However sriracha, due to its cult following and crippling-addictiveness, is gaining ground on ketchup. Catsup never stood a chance.

Heinz, feeling the paradigm shift in the condiment continuum, is now taking the “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em approach, and has released Sriracha Ketchup. This, or course, will save time for those who are still mixing their sriracha and ketchup to put on anything that goes into their pie-hole.

For those who think sriracha IS ketchup… carry on, and keep doing what you do.

Corn On The Cob Pillow

sweetcorn-1

Sweet corn dreams are made of this… who am I to disagree? The Sweet Corn Pillow is a concept by designer Weng Jie.

It features a set of individual corn kernels that Velcro to the cob. The best part, besides a giant cob to rest your weary head, is the corn is easily removable to have tiny pillow fights with. And, the cob part can then be rolled out as a play mat.

Tiny Hamsters Adorably Eating Tiny Spaghetti

hamsters-spaghetti

We’ve seen hamsters eating burritos and giving thanks for sawdust and running wheels. This time, love is in the air, and apparently Valentine’s Day isn’t exclusive to humans.

Tiny Hamster’s Tiny Date, by Hello Denizen, follows a few love-struck rodents through their date night. There’s even a romantic gondola ride, complete with accordion music and a spaghetti dinner.

And, if you’ve never seen hamsters eat spaghetti before… SPOILER… It’s mind-blowingly adorable.

Sushi Snow Globes Exist

sushi2-snow-globes

Snow globes are great for showing off the places you’ve been and the holidays you love. They’re also good at providing seconds of entertainment… until the novelty of watching floating glitter wears off.

To help make snow globes infinitely more entertaining, artist Eri Nami created Sushi Snow Globes. In place of a plastic NYC skyline or boring winter scene, there’s a submerged piece of raw fish and rice.

The sushi placed in the globes is actually very realistic… they’re just a lot more sparkly.

Coffee Stain Motorcycle Illustrations

coffee-1

Coffee stains have been known to ruin perfectly good tables, and some of the doodles we worked on so hard at that staff meeting. However, sometimes the ring stains are purposely placed on paper, and used for actual works of art.

Coffee Stain Motorcycles is a series by illustrator Carter Asmann. Coffee stain rings act as wheels, while the motorcycle is then carefully illustrated around them. Try a few of your own at that next boring meeting… or you can just check out more works by Asmann here.
