Illustrations of Food and Animals That The Artist Interacts With

christy-yee-4

What fun are illustrations of food and hungry animals, if you don’t feel as though you could reach out and touch them? Malaysian artist Christie Tan is helping to do just that, with an Instagram series of food and animals.

To help take her already awesome illustrations of a food item and an animal a step further, Tan uses creative paper cuts and her own interaction with the drawings, to help bring them to life.

You can see more of Tan’s work below and over at Instagram.

Rugby Players Have A Missing Tooth Replaced With A Functioning Bottle Opener

bottle-opener-teeth

Rugby players are tough. And, when they lose a tooth, they don’t just get it replaced with an ordinary one — that’s for hockey players.

Salta Beer and ad agency Ogilvy Argentina have come up with the Beer Tooth Implant — a tooth that’s also a functioning bottle opener. A few Argentinian athletes were even nice enough to have one installed for marketing purposes.

But please… do not induce any unnecessary tooth removal in the hope of receiving a Beer Tooth. They’re probably not available at your dentist yet.

Warning: The video contains graphic dental procedures, rugby violence, and the opening of bottles with teeth.

Titses, A Line of Chocolates Made To Look Like Boobies

titses_03

How do you design a line of chocolates that will appeal to the straight male demographic? The simple, and most juvenile answer of course, would be to take chocolate and just put boobs on it. Titses is that answer.

The concept, by designers Constantin Bolimond and Maxim Ali, is a line of fine chocolates that are made to resemble female breasts. The chocolate-eater/boobie-enthusiast can break off a pair of chocolates that vary in size — Small, Medium, and Extra-Large.

No mention if or when Titses might actually go on sale. Until then, there’s always Hershey’s Kisses.

How To Make A Beautiful Metal Sculpture With A Watermelon

watermelon-scuplture

If you’ve been wanting to create an awesome metal sculpture, and you have a watermelon and some molten aluminum laying around… here’s a fun video for you.

The Watermelon Metal Sculpture was created, unintentionally, by the Backyard Scientist. By pouring liquid metal into a watermelon, he was expecting to create an exploding watermelon video. The result instead, was a pretty cool piece of metal art.

Why did this happen? Don’t ask me… I’m no backyard scientist. Watch this video.
