The doughnut—our circle of truth. Whether glazed, jelly-filled, sprinkled, or all of the above—nothing makes for a more wonderful, gluttonous morning. However some Dunkin’ Donuts from around the world have taken liberty with our beloved doughnut.
Dunkin’ Donuts throughout East Asia appear to the biggest culprit—blurring the lines between doughnut, bagel, and sandwich with ingredients such as kimchi, dry pork, seaweed, and glutinous rice.
None of which we imagine would go well with Dunkin’ Donuts’ overrated, heart-palpation-inducing coffee.

I just found out today that a national donut day even exists and that Krispy Kreme gives away free donuts! I just read this blog article about it from a blogger in Chicago and learned that it started in Chicago. You should check out the blog, it’s really interesting and there’s a video too if you want to learn a little more about the history of the holiday. https://www.billydec.com/blog/national-donut-day-started-in-chicago/
