An upcoming documentary called The Fruit Hunters—based on the book of the same name—follows the adventures of those who are addicted to the pursuit and ingestion of the world’s most exotic fruit.
The mangosteen, jaboticaba, and the ever-elusive durian are only a few of the 80,000 edible varieties of fruit sought out by the hunters, who’s passion and dedication is evident in the trailer.
The Fruit Hunters even includes an appearance by actor Bill Pullman—a dedicated Fruit Hunter himself—who reveals similarities between fruit dealing and drug dealing. Right down to the dealer’s explanation of how good their shit is, to the eager sampler ‘tweaking out’ with anticipation of a taste. We think perhaps some of the hunters might have experience with both.

Hmmpf? OK then… Information on the movie had been a bit cryptic because it sounds as though it is very early stage production, but we did just include some more info to avoid any further Hmmpfers.
Im wondering why you didnt say where it was going to be on – (tv, theater, web only?) and when. Why write about something and then not share how to access it. Hmmpf Unsubscribe.
