How To Use Doritos To Start a Fire

If you tend to camp where there’s no kindling material, and you’re known to pack snack chips in your survival kit, then do we have a tip for you. Doritos and similar snacks are made from mostly hydrocarbons and fat, which are both highly flammable. Therefore they make an excellent material for getting the party started.

And if you happen to have brought the family size this time, you can keep it going all night. Your campfire will never smell cheesier.
