Record Packaging Made From Sugar

twws-sugar-album

What artists have to do to sell an album these days. Well, making the album out of a giant block of sugar is a good start. For Beacon’s first LP The Ways We Separate, Brooklyn-based sculptor Fernando Mastrangelo created a 13″x13″ cast sugar housing for the vinyl record.

And everyone loves sugar… You’ll just have to explain to your friends what vinyl is. The limited edition is available for pre-order here.

Boobie Cupcakes

Breast_Cupcakes_4_by_MorganCrone

Got milk? Breast Cupcakes are brought to us by deviantart member MorganCrone, which she made for a breast cancer charity bake sale. She claims to have started with 100, only to have about twenty eaten by her husband before the event. He must be a cupcake man.

The Breast Cupcakes are homemade butter cake with vanilla rum flavoured butter cream icing. Apparently all the same cupcake size.

Famous Works of Art Recreated on Toast

idafrosk

The Art Toast Project gives boring toasted bread a much-needed upgrade. Brought to us by Norwegian artist Ida Skivenes — famous works by Monet, Van Gogh, Pollock and others are recreated using various food items with toast as the canvas.

And it’s all documented on Instagram… See more of the project here.
