Cupcake McNuggets

For cupcake enthusiasts that enjoy their food in nugget form, there’s Cupcake Nuggets. Brought to us by Cupcake Project, the nuggets are cut from actual cupcakes, breaded with cupcake crumbs, and then deep fried. To complete the effect, Cupcake Project offers suggestions for making faux savory dipping sauces — such as raspberry jam to look like barbecue sauce.

The recipe and technique can be found here. And, at least you’ll know where your nuggets come from.

Boxed Wine Packaged in a Fashion Handbag

Boxed wine just went couture, with a line by Swedish company Vernissage. Designed to look like a high-end handbag, Vernissage makes your wine-to-go even easier to transport, and you can show some style in the process. That is until you pop open the spout, and pour your chardonnay from a cardboard purse — that’s so gauche.

Vernissage is available in red (syrah/cab blend), white (chardonnay/viognier), or rosé. And, when enjoying your new purse wine, make sure that you have a proper glass.

Candy Corn Oreos Exist

We’ve seen them double and triple stuffed, inside out, and even in fictional rainbow form. Now, Oreo cookies will be available in Candy Corn flavor, just in time for Halloween.

The new Oreos will be sold exclusively at Target stores starting Sept. 10, and should be a bit less disappointing than getting actual candy corns in your basket.

Tea Illustrations by Andrew Gorkovenko

Using nothing more than loose tea and extreme patience, artist Andrew Gorkovenko created beautiful landscape scenes for Triptea. Made specifically to be included on the tea company’s packaging — the scenes actually depict the origin of the tea contained within.

There’s Always Room by Kristin Tercek

There’s Always Room is a new piece by one of Foodiggity’s favorite artists, Kristin Tercek. The painting is part of Tercek’s body of work, known as Cuddly Rigor Mortis, in which she draws inspiration from a fascination with handmade dolls, and the mortality of anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables.

Here, we see a few fruits diving into a refreshing pool of green Jell-O. But holding true to the theme of Cuddly Rigor Mortis — our adorable friends will surely meet an untimely end. I say, Jell-O drowning.

‘There’s Always Room’ is acrylic on wood, measures 14″ x 9.5″ x .75″, and it goes on sale this Friday, September 7th at 3pm EDT.
