‘Lunchbox’ is a painting series created by San Francisco/New York based artist, Dan Kenneally. They are abstract sandwich paintings that use a single colored stripe to represent each ingredient. All are 18″x18″ acrylic and available for sale at Etsy.
They also make for a great national flag if you were to start your own country.

Recipe Look is a website that puts a bit of a spin on the concept of a recipe. People are encouraged to hand draw their favorite recipes and submit them for a chance to be featured on the site and win stuff.
Although most of the drawings appear to be done by drunk toddlers—the concept is interesting. We can’t help but wonder why recipe developers do not include more visual aid—besides pretty pictures of the finished product.
