Unless you’re turning an actual home into a giant gingerbread house, the annual tradition of creating gingerbread dwellings appears to be over.
The Pizza House, brought to us by Carrie Dennis of Thrillist, could officially end gingerbread’s run as the go-to holiday building material.
With some pizza, a few well-placed toothpicks, and the appropriate toppings, you can join in on this new holiday tradition. Instructions here.

Thank you, new favorite fan. And happy holidays.
Disappointing. Love your site, and you always find such great stuff around the web. I always click through to the original websites for the info, too. Guess I won’t be visiting Thrillist anymore either, considering their entire site is filled with images, video, Instagram shots, Flickr photos.
What I’ve learned from this: 1. Gingerbread pizza house is pretty disgusting. 2. Fair use is only fair for big sites with legal teams.
