The Pizza House Has Replaced The Gingerbread House

Untitled-1

Unless you’re turning an actual home into a giant gingerbread house, the annual tradition of creating gingerbread dwellings appears to be over.

The Pizza House, brought to us by Carrie Dennis of Thrillist, could officially end gingerbread’s run as the go-to holiday building material.

With some pizza, a few well-placed toothpicks, and the appropriate toppings, you can join in on this new holiday tradition. Instructions here.

Artist Transforms House Into A Giant Gingerbread House

Christine McConnell, whose favorite holiday appears to be Halloween, is back to help get us into the holiday spirit. McConnell recently transformed her parent’s home into a giant gingerbread house.

Complete with candy cane pillars and icing accents — McConnell even recruited her niece and nephew to portray Hansel and Gretel. If you’re passing by, please do not bite the house.

If you’re looking for the sweetest accommodations possible for the holidays, Gingerbread BNB is here to help.

The service is brought to us by McKinney agency, and allows for a virtual stay in a variety of gingerbread homes. Fully-furnished with equally-sweet accessories, the homes can be ‘booked’ for $5-$20 per night. Choose from a rustic cabin, modern home, or cozy camper.

All proceeds from your stay will go to Robin Hood, the largest poverty-fighting organization in New York City.

An Adventure Time Candy Kingdom Gingerbread House

If you’ve ever been forced to watch Adventure Time with your kids, then you know that it’s nothing more than an acid trip disguised as family programming. So, if there was a gingerbread house created to help capture the spirit of the show, it might look something like this.

Brought to us by Redditor IHaveAFluffyCat, the Adventure Time Candy Kingdom is a wonder of gingerbread-engineering and food sculpture. The step by step can be found here.
