The Birth of Sugar-Coated Cereal

October 6, 2010 by Chris Durso

Behold… Kellogg’s original ad for Frosted Flakes, and the birth of sugar-coated cereal. The ad has a kind of history-altering feel, akin to the front page announcement of the moon landing.

Think of all the hyperactive children and dentist chair screams we wouldn’t have to deal with, had it not been for Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes.
