munny-snacks-6

If you’re not familiar with Munnies, they’re basically a blank canvas for folks to create the awesomest vinyl figurines possible. Artist Zard Apuya is one of these creative people, and he likes snacks.

One of Apuya’s Munny series is food-inspired, focusing on junk food and snacks. From a Kit Kat Munny with a wafer-filled head to a Starbucks cup-dude — the figures are as adorable as they are hunger-inducing.

See more below and at Apuya’s store here.

opentoys

If you’re having trouble getting the kids to eat any fruits or vegetables, Open Toys might be able to help.

The 3D-printable accessories will transform that produce into airplanes, submarines, and hovercrafts. Perhaps after playing with an apple and carrot long enough, they’ll work up an appetite, and eat their vehicle.

Open Toys are unfortunately not available for sale, but the templates to print your own can be found here. Just in case you have a finicky eater, some produce, and a 3D printer .

How To Make A Meal Using Play-Doh Tools

play-doh-kitchen

Rhett and Link of Good Mythical Morning would like to take us back to our childhood. An innocent time when the salty allure of Play-Doh was one of the few things we had in life.

They achieve this by preparing a meal using nothing more than the very colorful culinary tools that are included in Play-Doh sets. Although, they’re not actually using Play-Doh — updating the process with adults in mind — they create a bit more palatable doughs with actual food. Please watch.

Sushi Transformers, Assemble!

sushi-transformers-1

As we all know… There are few things that are more fun to play with than sushi. Big Bad Toy Store knows this, and brings us the Sushi Squadron Shirada.

The sushi transformers start off as a Maki roll or piece of Nigiri, then transform into a fierce warrior with a weapon. Their raw fish shields will certainly come in handy against an attack of giant chopsticks and wasabi bombs. Available for pre-order here
