Face it… if it’s not posted on Instagram, it never happened. Sonic knows this, and wants to make sure that their milkshakes actually exist, by making them easier to post within Instagram’s square format.
Sonic’s Square Milkshakes, created in collaboration with Chef Jacques La Merde, are presented in a square glass, with square accents, and even topped with square cherries. However, sampling one of these shakes is anything but “square,” as it’s apparently one of the hipsterest things to ever hipster.
The Sonic Square Shakes will only be available at this year’s Coachella festival, and can be ordered through Instagram’s ‘Shop Now’ geo-targeted sponsored ads. No mention if they’re artisanal.
