A Kitchen Knife Inspired by Cavemen

You’d think that a kitchen tool that draws inspiration from someone who lived in a cave and had a pet dinosaur, would be considered crude by our modern standards. However, Italian kitchenware maker Del Ben and designer Michele Daneluzzo actually borrowed a design from the prehistoric man and created The Primitive.

The knife, inspired by Stone-age era cutting tools, are handle-less with a large top edge to grip. Perfectly tapered and sharpened, little pressure is needed to slice through veggies, fruits, the occasional Brontosaurus burger, or anything that you’ll be cooking. Assuming you’ve already discovered fire.
