This Daenerys and Dragon Pie Has Already Won The Game of Thrones

Games of Thrones final season is upon us. While we ponder who’ll actually win the game, one thing is for sure… this Daenerys and Dragon Pie will certainly win any GOT-themed bake sale.

Brought to us by Liz Joy of Inspired To Taste, the pie depicts the “queen” and one of her faithful dragons. The actual pie consists of lemon curd, peach and raspberry filling in a lemon almond cookie crust.

Check out the ultimate GOT pie and more of Joy’s work over on Instagram.

Another Creepy Face Pie That Looks Frighteningly Delicious

Fall must be approaching, because creepy stuff and baked goods seem to be everywhere. Inspired by People Pot Pies from a few weeks ago, Andrew Fuller of Guy Meets Cake has made a singular, equally-creepy Face Pie.

The cherry filling lends itself nicely to the dripping gore, while well-placed layers of crust and detail is the stuff of sweet nightmares. Make a similar pie for Thanksgiving to freak out grandma.

Creepy Face Pies Are Here To Help Ruin Dessert

We hope that you saved room for dessert… and to be creeped the eff out.

Creepy Face Pies are brought to us by Etsy shop,  It Came From Under My Bed. Although the pies come in a variety of horrifying faces, some of the accoutrements such as teeth and the tongue can be added for effect. That effect being to ruin dessert, dinner and any other plans that you have for the next few days. Enjoy.

How To Make The Pies From The Movie ‘Waitress’

If you haven’t seen the 2007 movie Waitress — SPOILER ALERT — it’s about a waitress. Thankfully, Keri Russell does more than just wait tables for two hours, and actually spends most of the film making pies.

Binging With Babish is here to show us how to make a few of the pies featured in the movie. There’s The Waitress’s Bad Baby Pie, Chocolate Strawberry Oasis Pie and a New York-style Cheesecake.

The video is easy to follow, so you can create a pie that’d make Andy Griffith proud.

Be Prepared For Pi Day With A Piedaho Tee

Pi Day is Wednesday, 3/14.

Pies have little to do with the mathematical constant that is Pi. Even though, they’re pronounced the same, are both all about circles, and they’ve co-opted March 14th as a national holiday. On second thought, they’re practically the same thing.

Now, what Idaho has to do with all of this… nothing. Except, pie and Idaho makes for an awesome portmanteau, Piedaho, and The Foodnited States has the goods to help celebrate.

So, whether you’re a math geek, pie-enthusiast, proud Idahoan, or all of the above — be prepared by grabbing a Piedaho Tee for yourself. Available here, and happy Pi Day!
