Winston The Dog Is The Subject of a Food Photo Series After Raiding The Fridge

Dogs, when they’re not destroying your couch or raiding the fridge, can be pretty awesome. Winston The Dog does a little bit of everything — mostly awesome.

After his owner, photographer Scott Cromwell, documented him ridding the fridge of hot dogs — Winston became the subject of a healthy-eating photo series.

The extremely obedient dog can be seen in the series with various fruits balanced on his head, and a colorful background to match. Good dog.

Food Art Created With Inedible Ingredients

Is it still food art, if the subject is completely inedible? That’s the question artist T.Q. Lee asks with Inedible, a photo series of food styling created from everyday and household items.

LEGO cereal, donuts made from socks, or a layer cake made from mud — Lee’s project challenges our perception of what makes us hungry, or grosses us out. The hot dog made from a rubber glove does a bit of both.

Space Food, A Photo Series of Not-So Futuristic Food

As we all know, anything wrapped in tin foil instantly becomes futuristic. Photographer Giorgia Zanellato knows this, and has created the photo series Space Food. Included is a cheeseburger from the future, a space donut, and another oblong food item that we can’t quite make out. It must be from the future.

Anti-Food Porn: Beautiful Photos of Rotting Food

A commentary on global food waste, Austrian photographer Klaus Pichler brings us One-Third. Referring to the one-third of food produced worldwide that is lost or wasted, the series of anti-food porn turns a revolting concept such as decaying food, and makes it somewhat appealing — as long as you don’t have Smell-o-Vision. See more beautiful decay here.
