Brooklyn vs. Manhattan

Although Manhattan is still considered by many to be New York’s epicenter of culture, finance, and cuisine; Brooklyn appears to have become the ‘ground zero of cool’. Two TONY editors recently weighed in on which is better, making a strong case for their native borough.

We dig the illustration pictured above. Brooklyn; represented by a hot, artsy chick. Manhattan; a douche in a Burberry scarf. Is this an accurate representation of the two?

Perhaps if ‘Boy Manhattan’ was also stepping on a puppy.

Now—15 years later—Quentin Tarantino has created another masterpiece with Inglourious Basterds, and the five-dollar shake is not only reality, it is creating single file human masses rivaled only by Space Mountain.
