McDonald’s Has An Apparel Line Now

McDonald’s is getting in on the swag market. The McDelivery Collection will not only make you look like the Mac Daddy, but it’s here to help promote Mickey D’s new delivery line.

So, besides a McDonald’s sweatshirt, onesie, and pillow case — you can have a Big Mac or McGriddle delivered to your door.

The only way, so far, to get your hands on the new McDonald’s merch, is through this delivery service via UberEATS, starting on July 26th. Check if your local McDonald’s is participating here.

McDonald’s Hamburger Straws Are A Thing Because Japan

Instagram @im_mmoe

Nobody can be sure why McDonald’s patrons in Japan are impaling their burgers onto their drinks with a straw. But they are, and it’s a new meme referred to as ‘drink x hamburger.’

Perhaps it’s to keep the burger in place while mobile. One-handed eating/drinking? Or maybe, just maybe, Japan likes when there are bits of burger floating around in their beverage. Either way, check it out and judge for yourself.

Watching McDonald’s Hamburgers Being Crushed by a Hydraulic Press is Oddly Satisfying

McDonald’s hamburgers, once thought to be indestructible, have never seen the business end of a hydraulic press.

Hydraulic Press Channel is here to change all of that. They begin, innocently enough, with a Big Mac that is systematically turned to burger-mush. Then, many burgers are inserted into an extruder, and the result is what you might expect… projectile burger mush. Enjoy.

McDonald’s Has Released Minion Tater-Tots Because Ba-Ba-Banana

via Instagram, @shermainexk

We may not understand what they’re saying, but Minions sure do make for some adorable food items. To help promote Despicable Me 3, McDonald’s has created Minion Potatoes.

Shaped to look like the adorable yellow dudes, the tater tots are perfect for dipping, or to assist larger evil food items.

The Minion Potatoes appear to only be available in Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand, and Australia. How do you say ‘that sucks’ in Minion?

McDonald’s Once Offered A Free Razor With Breakfast

Because nothing goes with a good breakfast quite like a razor. McDonald’s once thought so, and, attempting to capitalize on the new disposable razor market, offered a free Gillette Razor with the purchase of breakfast.

The Free Razor with Breakfast Entree was offered in 1978 and again in 1986. One ad even implied that certain facial hair styles were appropriate for each breakfast. Even though, we all know that a Sausage McMuffin is better suited for a goateed gentleman.

Not to be outdone, and wanting their patrons to be well-kept, Wendy’s offered a similar promotion in 1985. Now, if there was only a fast food restaurant that would adopt a similar promotion today, and save men $90 on a razor.
