Animals Fused With Their Favorite Food

Cat and Fish

If the old adage of “you are what you eat” is true, then we’ll eventually be left with these terrifying animal-food hybrids.

You Are What You Eat was created by artist Sarah deRemer. The works of Photoshop show an animal, not only with its favorite food, but actually becoming the food.

The result is a catfish, a cheesemouse, and a manburger. What would be your better half?

The Wonut Is Part Waffle, Part Donut, and All Awesome

wonut

Let’s just get this out of the way… Waffles don’t need any help being awesome. However, if you’re going to attempt to improve upon the waffle’s perfection, merging it with a donut is a good place to start.

The Wonut — not to be mistaken for another franken-donut with a line of hipsters behind it — is part waffle, part donut, and all kinds of awesome.

Brought to us by The Waffle Café in Chicago — who even had the wherewithal to provide a hole in the middle of each — offers a variety of Wonuts to choose from. Just make sure to tell everyone in line that you were eating them before they were cool.

Spoon Plus Chopsticks

Utensil hybrids appear to be all the rage lately, and it’s no longer limited to some odd commingling of the knife, fork and spoon. After chopsticks got in on the act with the Kung Foon, the latest hybrid that we could find has them joining forces with the spoon. Enter the spoonplus.

But more than just the pinching abilities of chopsticks mixed with the scooping properties of a standard spoon — the spoon part detaches to become an instant dipping tray. Now we just need chopsticks mixed with a knife and spork, and we’ll consider this matter closed.
