DJs You Can Eat, An Incredibly Punny Website of Edible Hip-Hop Artists

When you combine food, hip-hop artists, terrible puns, and even worse use of Photoshop — you get DJs You Can Eat.

Enjoy the rhythm of ‘Grand Pasta Flash,’ or an anthropomorphic slab of fish as ‘Andy Sea Bass.’ Although, in most cases, the food item’s fame far exceeds that of the artist. But I could be down for some Flanny — whoever that is.

If Rappers Had Their Own Cereal Brand

snoop-loops

Holla! Rappers & Cereal is a Tumblr blog that rethinks a few of our favorite cereals as if they were endorsed by rappers. Grab some gin and juice and pour it over a heaping bowl of Snoop Loops, or make sure cereal isn’t one of your 99 problems with Jigga Jacks.

Check out more here. And, if you’re feeling the beat, get out of your seat, and suggest a few rap cereals that are neat… Word! Can I have my own cereal now?

Bon Rappetite, The World’s First Hip Hop Restaurant

Although all signs point to this being nothing more than a marketing campaign for a social media company, Bon Rappetite is the World’s First Hip Hop Restaurant — albeit fictional. Despite no mention of what makes the restaurant “Hip Hop” besides claims of “a menu that caters to the ballers,” we are treated to some of the greatest food puns in recent memory. Some offerings from Bon Rappetite include; Wu Tang Clams, Snoop Doggy Corndogs, and Pone Thugs and Hominy.

And while you wait for the rest of your imaginary entourage to arrive, you can hang at the bar and throw back a few Long Island Ice-Ts — easy on the Ice Cubes.

Most links on the site are broken, but you can check out more rap-inspired dishes and punny goodness here. Thanks Erika.
