The Mason Jar Cocktail Shaker

We’ve shown you how to turn a mason jar into a travel mug. Now, the ubiquitous glass container can help make a bit stiffer of a drink, with the Mason Shaker. Combining their love of “fine cocktails and classic Southern style,” the design duo of Josh and Eric came up with a prototype for a strainer, outer rim, and cap attachment.

So, what was once used as the go-to container for backwoods moonshine, can now help make your fancy drinks in the comfort of your home. Currently in its Kickstarter phase, The Mason Shaker has far surpassed its target goal. So, keep an eye out for it soon, and you’ll be drinking ironically in no time.

SnöBar, Booze-Infused Ice Cream For Adults

SnöBar is a new line of alcohol-infused ice cream and ice pops, inspired by actual cocktails. The ice cream flavors include Pink Squirrel, Grasshopper, and Brandy Alexander — while the booze pops come in Cosmopolitan and Margarita.

There’s no mention of how many scoops it would actually take to get you drunk, but SnöBar products pack anywhere from 8.22% – 14.6% ABV. Please eat your ice cream responsibly.

SnöBar Cocktails are currently available in Arizona, with plans to expand to Las Vegas this summer.

Constitutions of Classic Cocktails, An Infographic

Have you ever wondered how to make a Salty Dog, or perhaps the perfect Gin Rickey? Neither have I. However, The Constitutions of Classic Cocktails is a pretty thorough guide that could come in handy should the need arise. Created by Pop Chart Lab, the insanely intricate infographic weaves you through the ingredients of almost any classic cocktail imaginable.

It even points you to the proper glass to serve your drink of choice. Because you wouldn’t want to serve a Monkey Gland in a highball — that would just be tacky.
