The Candy Corn Gun Is A Sweet Weapon

October 30, 2017 by Chris Durso

Finally, a use for candy corns… as a not-so deadly weapon. The Double Barrel Candy Corn Launcher is brought to us by Dragonfly Fabrication, and should provide some much-needed protection whilst trick-or-treating.

The device is 3-D printed, and will launch two at a time. If you live somewhere with mean neighbors, who think that kids still like candy corns, you’ll have plenty of ammo for the night.

Find out more about this sweet weapon here, and see it in action below.

The Candy Corn Yule Log Can Burn Yearlong

December 27, 2016 by Chris Durso

yule-log

Christmas may have come and gone, but the yule log can burn all year. The Fireplace, by animator PES, rethinks the holiday loop, using candy corns and pretzel sticks.

Recently remastered in 4K, we now have an alternative to boring logs and actual fire. Candy!

Brunch-Flavored Candy Corn Exists

September 8, 2016 by Chris Durso

Candy corn, the ubiquitous Halloween candy that’s given out by the neighbors who hate kids, is apparently in the middle of some sort of renaissance. Brach’s, borrowing from the alternative-flavor playbook created by Oreo, has unleashed Brunch-Flavored Candy Corn.

The sugar-nuggets, having graduated from their familiar yellow, white and orange, have been replaced with the desaturated colors of a late breakfast. Flavors of the brunch candy corns are French Toast and Maple Syrup, Waffles and Strawberry, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes — replacing the classic flavor of high fructose corn syrup and disappointment.

Brunch Favorites Candy Corns will be available for a limited time only at Target stores.

Deep-Fried Candy Corn Exists

October 21, 2014 by Chris Durso

What to do with all of that unwanted candy corn? Well, when in doubt, the answer is always “deep-fry.”

Amy of Oh, Bite It! knows this, and has created Deep-Fried Candy Corn. The process is simple, needing only Pillsbury Crescent Roll dough and all of that candy corn, of which you should have plenty. Wrap those sugar nuggets in dough, fry, and your upcycling is complete.

Candy Corn Cookies

October 5, 2012 by Chris Durso

When you need your cookies and candy corns all in the same place — and if Oreos ain’t your thing — there’s Candy Corn Cookies. Brought to us by Williams-Sonoma, the cookies are vanilla-flavored and made by hand.

Put the cookies out for guests, or keep them at the bottom of your trick-or-treat bag with the rest of your candy corns.
