Because nothing goes with a good breakfast quite like a razor. McDonald’s once thought so, and, attempting to capitalize on the new disposable razor market, offered a free Gillette Razor with the purchase of breakfast.
The Free Razor with Breakfast Entree was offered in 1978 and again in 1986. One ad even implied that certain facial hair styles were appropriate for each breakfast. Even though, we all know that a Sausage McMuffin is better suited for a goateed gentleman.
Not to be outdone, and wanting their patrons to be well-kept, Wendy’s offered a similar promotion in 1985. Now, if there was only a fast food restaurant that would adopt a similar promotion today, and save men $90 on a razor.
Wake-and-bake just got a bit more convenient. The Breakfast Bowl is a cereal bowl/water bong hybrid.
Simply fill the inner bowl with your favorite cereal and milk, and the chamber with your favorite herb. The outer bowl will then fill with smoke until released, as your spoonful of Apple Jacks awaits. Or, whatever the stoner choice of cereal is these days.
If you’re looking for the most important lounge of the day, Bacon and Eggs Pool Floats are here to help.
Available at Hammacher Schlemmer, the floats are made from thick durable vinyl, and should keep you afloat all morning… even after your large breakfast. Bonus points if you fill the pool with coffee.
Pop-Tarts, feeling that their product isn’t nearly tart enough, has introduced a Jolly Rancher version.
Jolly Rancher Pop-Tarts are filled with candy-inspired cherry, watermelon and/or green apple. To sweeten the deal, the toaster pastries are frosted. Hopefully, the Tarts won’t remain stuck to your teeth for long.
