Black Lemonade, For When Life Hands You Lemons and Charcoal

Charcoal appears to be making its way into everything lately. Now, it wants to make your lemonade and summers extra goth.

Brought to us by Jen from Instructables, Black Lemonade is made simply by adding activated charcoal into your regular lemonade. Besides being summery and refreshing, the black beverage has all of the potential health benefits of ingesting charcoal. That, and it’s so metal. Horns up, lemonade-drinker!

Black Lattes Appear Evil But They’re Here To Do Good

Just in case you’re sick of unicorn everything, black lattes are here to cast a shadow on that tired food trend. Charcoal lattes, as they’re known, have actually been around for a while and used for detox purposes.

They’ve gained popularity lately — perhaps just in time to help desaturate our Instagram feeds, and rid us of pink and sprinkles on everything.

All-Black Ice Cream Cones For When You’re Feeling Hot and Gothic

black-ice-cream

Ice cream cones have been way too bright and cheerful for too long. Little Damage Ice Cream Shop in Los Angeles is here to change all of that.

Although black ice cream is nothing new, we hadn’t seen the theme carried through to the cone as well. Little Damage’s black ice cream is almond-flavored and colored with natural charcoal. It’s also Batman and Hot Topic-approved.*

Black Garlic Doritos Are Here To Help Ward Off Vampires

black-doritos

October is almost here, which means that there will be vampires everywhere looking to bite us, and possibly steal our chips… true story.

Black Garlic Doritos are here to protect us this fall. Not only do vampires hate garlic, but we hear that they only dig Cool Ranch… another true story.

Although the chips are only available in Japan, we can still eat Doritos all October. Just avoid Cool Ranch.

Black Ice Cream Is For Those Hot Gothic Days

black-ice-cream

When you’re feeling a little less vanilla and wanna be metal AF, there’s now Black Ice Cream.

Brought to us by Morgenstern’s in New York City, the goth-ice cream is “Coconut Ash” flavor, with its distinct color made possible with activated charcoal.

Get a double scoop with vanilla for some cone-harmony… although it’ll be a little less metal.
