McDonald’s Now Makes A Burger With A Gray Bun Because Their Burgers Weren’t Boring Enough

McD-China-Grey

Just when you thought that a McDonald’s sandwich couldn’t get any less appetizing, along comes this gray-bunned entry from McDonald’s China.

“The Modern China Burger” is a double pork patty with bacon, lettuce, tomato and Sichuan pepper ketchup. Perhaps an answer to Burger King’s all-black burger — the gray bun is colored with black sesame and, along with its beige pork innards, makes for a monochromatic assault to your palate. No mention what color it turns your poop.

Lucky Charms With Only Marshmallows Exists

lucky-charms-marshmallows-2

The people have spoken, Lucky Charms… And they don’t want your annoying oat clusters getting in the way of their marshmallow eating anymore. Sure, those boring beige nuggets contain the only semblance of nutrition in your cereal, but there’s orange stars and blue moons to be had.

General Mills wants to give, at least a few people, what they want… An official box of Lucky Charms With Just Marshmallows. Although the cluster-less cereal will not be available to the general public — they’re actually part of a sweepstakes for only 10 lucky winners.

Those interested in their official box of Lucky Charms With Just Marshmallows can enter the contest by sharing a photo of yourself holding an imaginary box of Lucky Charms on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with hashtag #Lucky10Sweepstakes. Do it… Biz Markie implores you.

Do Not Eat These Meals On Plates Because They’re Paintings

plate-lady

Artist Jacqueline Poirier, akathe crazy plate lady, is certainly crazy about plates. Especially when it comes to painting realistic meals on them and making us hungry.

Please do not try to eat them, because the meals are, after all, ceramic and paint… yuk! However it is pretty awesome art.., yum! See more of Poirier’s work below and over at Instagram.

Edible Masterpieces Help Fund Local Art Museums and Galleries

EdibleCreationofAdamMAIN
Priley Riley’s satsuma recreation of Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam

The ArtFund has the most creative way to raise funds for the arts, by asking the public to be the artist. The UK-based initiative asks folks to recreate edible versions of their favorite works of art.

The result… Delicious replicas of famous masterworks. From a series of modern art cupcakes to a Taj Mahal cake — the winner was a brilliant, yet very simple recreation of Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam made from citrus slices.

See more of the edible masterpieces below, and find out more about the project here.
