When All Traces of Gluten Are Removed From Famous Works of Art

gluten-free-museum-2

Imagine if gluten-intolerance spread to the art world… it might look something like these before and afters.

Brought to us by the Tumblr site, Gluten-Free Museum, famous works of art and pop-culture images are stripped of any wheat, barley and rye. The result… art that’s a bit more tolerable for the gluten-averse. Finally, something else for them to talk about.

This Artist Turns Starbucks Cups Into Works of Art

I-Turn-Starbucks-Cups-into-Art

With all of the controversy surrounding Starbucks’ red holiday cups, it’s good to see someone having some harmless fun with a cardboard drinking vessel.

Twenty-year-old artist, Carrah Aldridge, takes the mermaid-adorned cups and vastly improves them with original art. The cup designs are created with Sharpies markers, a white gel pen and copic markers.

Just don’t color any of them red, Carrah… we don’t want any trouble.
