How Beer Saved The World

We’re still not sure if this is actually legitimate new programming from Discovery Channel, or the work of a few rapscallions with really good editing software. Either way, How Beer Saved The World claims that beer, not the wheel or automobile, is the greatest invention of all-time. And they appear serious.

A few talking heads even go so far as to claim, “we would not have the pyramids if it weren’t for beer”, “beer is in our DNA”, and “without beer we’d still be living in caves.”

Still living in caves? We can certainly all agree that beer is wonderful and has had a profound effect on society. However, we didn’t think it went that far beyond making family gatherings tolerable, helping white guys dance, or making the opposite sex appear more attractive.

Either way, please enjoy what truly appears to be an extended Bud Light commercial.
