Agreed. Watermelon and heat just don’t belong.
I can’t imagine that is anything but nasty. I had a professional chef boyfriend (Executive chef in a restaurant in Australia of French descent) who made me watermelon pancakes… WTF? I did make watermelon chili lime ketchup last year — that was pretty good.
