The spoon… We know it as the tool used to stir stuff and shovel food into our pie-hole. Artist Stian Korntved Ruud sees the spoon differently — rethinking it via an awesome daily project.
Simply-titled Daily Spoon, Ruud’s project produces a new design for a spoon every day for one year. But rather than the traditional long-handled utensil with shallow bowl, Ruud challenges the form and function, creating beautiful woodworks in the process.
Regardless of the aesthetics, all of Ruud’s spoons are functional, and will certainly help insert food into mouth. See more of the project here.
