An Anatomical Heart Cake That Actually Pumps Blood

September 4, 2018 by Chris Durso

When a heart surgeon has a birthday, no ordinary cake will do. Deviant Desserts is here to help.

The Anatomical Heart Cake was created by Katherine Dey. Not only does the cake have the appearance to please any cardiologist, but it functions just like the real thing. Here, the pumping “blood” is raspberry sauce, and can be enjoyed as a drinking fountain until the red velvet cake is sliced into.

Although, it doesn’t spurt blood, Deviant Desserts offers a Realistic Heart Cake that anybody can enjoy for their birthday.
